Preselector with a capacitor tuned by a stepper motor (variable capacitor), very precise tuning with excellent attenuation outside the pass band (-70dB).
With the FT-DX101MP both Main-RX and Sub-RX are equipped with a VCT-101 unit. For the FT-DX101D the Main-RX is equipped with the VCT-101 unit, for the Sub-RX the VT-101 preselector is available as a retrofit option. Installation should be carried out by a qualified specialist dealer.
