The control cable is used to connect the ATU2.0 loop controller to the radio. This enables fully automatic control of the loop by the transceiver, i.e. the antenna is automatically tuned each time the frequency changes.
If the CAT interface of the transceiver is already in use (PC, power amplifier) then there is the Serial Switch from Mazzoni. With this switch it is possible to connect PC, loop and radio via CAT at the same time.
