PowerPOle contacts can be either soldered or crimped to the wire. Crimped connections - done with the right tool - are usually more reliable and faster to make than with a soldering iron. Plus you don't need power, for example on a field day, up in the tower etc. The heavy, ratcheted crimp tool applies the correct pressure for crimping reliable and durable contacts. Sutiable for all contact sizes: 15, 30 and 45A.
